For a finished edge, the plaster stop bead provides a straight edge casing and offers protection at door openings and abutments. An excellent mechanical key is provided by the flange. The stop bead is easily fixed by suing galvanished nails or plaster dabs. Some of the common application areas of the stop bead are expansion joints, door jambs and skirting, and whenever a finished plaster edge is required.
